The 'Hurt' singer announces in a Twitter post that she is engaged to her boyfriend Matt Lutler, sharing a photo of her diamond sparkler.
had good news to share on Valentine's Day. The singer took to Twitter on Friday, February 14 to announce her engagement to her film producer boyfriend Matt Lutler. "He asked and I said...," she wrote, adding a photo of her big sparkler with the background of a tropical scenery.
"They're very much in love and are really excited to take this next step!" a source close to the couple told PEOPLE. The "Hurt" singer met Lutler on the set of 2010's film "".
Aguilera previously was married to Jordan Bratman. They parted ways in October 2010 after five years of marriage. The divorce was finalized in February 2011 and the two shared custody of their 6-year-old son Max Bratman.
"He's the love of my life, and I adore him," she said of her little boy on "" in November 2010. "He's such a character, and he's so happy and at the end of the day, that's what's most important."
